Speaker Bio:

Erin Kidd is the Special Projects Manager at Thompson Greenspon.  In addition to nearly 15 years of tax experience specializing in individual taxation, she has spent time in a variety of industries developing and improving programs to streamline procedures.  Throughout her career, she has focused on simplifying complex issues.  As Special Projects Manager, she analyzes existing programs and systems to design creative and cost-effective solutions to meet both client and organization needs, to simplify production and increase efficiency.  Erin has successfully launched programs in a broad range of areas including marketing, signage manufacturing and wayfinding, and in the tax preparation and accounting industry.  These programs created new service lines, streamlined workflow solutions, and increased production and efficiency, which helped to accelerate revenue collection. She is a writer and has been a contributing author to her Thompson Greenspon’s tax blog and the Military.com, Military Spouse Advocacy Network, and NextGen MilSpouse websites on the topic of personal finance.  She is a contributor to Thomson Reuters' Tax Action Bulletin, writing about tax practice management topics.  Erin holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business Administration from Morehead State University. She is an Enrolled Agent, an Accredited Financial Counselor® and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
