AFWA is excited to host a holiday bazaar to help with shopping for family and friends in one place and support our small business vendors. We are also hosting a self-defense class to kick-off the event!

We will be holding a raffle of items donated by our vendors with proceeds supporting our Scholarship Fund.

From 1 pm to 6pm the holiday bazaar will be open to our members and the Washington Township neighbors, friends and family to Canterbury Mews' residents and AFWA members.

More on Self-defense Training and the Instructor Marchello Hancock

Marchello served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps. During that time, he was his unit’s Chief Training Non-commissioned Officer and Primary Martial Arts Instructor. The Marine Corps Martial Arts Program or MCMAP is an ideal foundation for self-defense due to its practicality, versatility, and ease of execution. All techniques will be modified to account for height, weight, age, gender, relative strength, and physical disabilities. He will begin the instruction period with basic strikes; movement, and some techniques that the students can utilize immediately for defense situations.

All attendees should wear long pants and water bottle will be made available. 

The fee for members for this session will be $ 20.00 for members and $25.00 non-members. Lunch is included and will immediately follow the training.
